Positioning Leaders to Lead

Positioning Leaders to Lead

“Ko te puāwaitanga on ngā moemoeā, me whakamahi”

Dreams become a reality when we take action

Everyone, at some time in life, is asked to be a leader, whether to lead a classroom discussion, coach a tamariki sports team, direct a marae fundraiser or lead a whānau development programme. Many situations require leadership. A leader may have a high or low profile but in every situation there are leadership demands placed on an individual who is the leader. Being a leader is challenging, exciting, and rewarding, and carries with it many responsibilities.

Leadership is not about a position or title. It’s about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading the passion you have for your work, and inspiration is about inspiring others to follow and to eventually lead. In this workshop you will discover what it takes to be a leader and how to position leaders to lead.
